Cheats/Codes/Secrets

We are NOT responsible for whatever happens to your game in these cheats. Some of these codes are UNTESTED.

BATTLE TIPS:

(1 To have a better chance of catching Pokémon, hold down "A" button to close Pokéball tighter.You can also hold down "Up" and "B" and it should act like a
Master Ball

(2 While in battle, hold down "A" for harder hitting attacks.

3) Hold down "Right" and "B" for less damage when an opponent attacks you.

YOSHI!! (NEW!)

Both players must have beatin the elite four and have 150 pokemon
then red version trades a dratini to blue version
blue version evolves the dratini to dragonite then trades it back to red
red then goes to unknown dungeon where mew was located
use a fire stone on dragonite (it will say not able but do it anywayz)
the screen will glitch then say what dragonite is evolving

MEW
Mew: The S.S. Anne trick works for some games but if it doesn't go into the cinnebar mansion building and read all the diarys in order then after using itemfinder all over the building and finding the mist stone use max repel and Mew will appear!

PIKABLU
TO GET PIKABLU ANYTIME GO TO ROCKET GAME CORNER AND GO WHERE GIOVANI WAS. TALK TO BOTH GUARDS AND THEN LEAVE AND BEAT THE ELITE FOUR. AFTER YOU BEAT THEM TALK TO THE GUARDS AGAIN THEN GO AND TALK TO PROFFESOR OAK. HE WILL SAY "GIOVANI WAS LOOKING FOR YOU!" SO GO OUTSIDE AND GO UP TO YOUR ROOM IF GIOVANI ISN'T THERE YET GO CATCH SOME MORE POKEMON THEN GO BACK. WHEN HE IS THERE HE WILL GIVE YOU HM06. THEN GO AND JUMP BEHIND THE SECRET HOUSE IN THE SAFFARI ZONE AND USE ITEM FINDER. IT SHOULD BEEP THEN USE YOUR POKEFLUTE AND PIKABLU WILL APPEAR. TALK TO HIM AND YOU WILL GET IN A BATTLE. I SUGGEST SAVING YOUR MASTERBALL FOR HIM BECAUSE OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO PARALYZE HIM FREEZE HIM BURN HIM AND PUT HIM TO SLEEP POKEGODS

Pokémon Factory
To get to the factory beat the Elite Four 30 times without talking to anyone in between exept the indigo plateau Nurse Joy to heal your pokemon Ont the 30th time proffesor oak will say "I getting tired of this. Just explore a little." He will let you walk around the hall of fame room. There are pictures on the walls and a door on the far side. Go in the door and it will take you to a new city. In the city is the pokemon factory and people that will trade you pokegods for other pokemon!
Faster Way
That's the fastest way. If you have nickname you can warp on top of the doors and then walk forward to get the the next room. Then at lances room surf on the statue beside him then warp on him the walk into garys room then walk past gary.

Another Pikablu Code

You have to find the bottle first. The bottle is in the waters somewhere. It changes for each quest of the game. The ones that I have heard are Cerulean Water, Cerulean Gym, Power Plant water, I found it under the Waters of Unknown Dungeon. You will get it when you TELEPORT back to the Cerulean City Pokemon Center. Once you teleport back it will say that you found a bottle! After you find it go to the items and select it. It should give you a message on where Pikablu EXACTLY is. On mine it says the middle of the waters of Seafoam Islands. I went there and teleported and I found pikablu. For somereason I did not teleport back but I got him. Then I moved to the right and it telported and I found a mist stone. Some people say they found it by battling it. I don't know why maybe when they surfed to that spot a battle may have actifated it. Or maybe it was a cable link fight. I don't know.

Togepy (NEW!)

all you do is use the item finder in mt. moon 100 times (make sure that it is all in different places, or it doesn't work)and on the 101 time it will respond. when you find the item it will be an egg. after you play long enough the egg will hatch and presto! you have a togepy!

Get 99 or more of ANY item! *New*

This code is actually comprised of several different codes sent in by readers. Alone, they're not as exciting, but put them together and you have the code you've been waiting for! And here's how you do it! First, return back to Viridian City and talk to the man who taught you how to catch a Weedle (he is near the Gym where you face Giovanni). Reply "No" to his question, then watch him catch a Weedle. Then, place the item you want 99 as number six from the top (we recommend the Master Ball if you still have it). To switch items, press Select while pointing to an item, then move the arrow where you want the item to go and push Select again. Both items will switch places. Now, FLY back to Cinnabar Island and start SURFING along the east coast of Cinnabar like in the Missingno. code below. This time, however, you will face a different messed up Pokemon, with a name comprized of symbols. Defeat him or run away but do NOT capture it. When it is defeated, you will have over 100 of the sixth item on your list! If you want to repeat this trick, you'll need to talk to the man again. This trick also works when you capture Missingno. If you continue to surf along the coast, you will face Pokemon that are Level 175 can give you about 3000 Exp. Points! You can also duplicate expensive items and sell them back to earn lots of money! Thanks to all the players who sent in codes!

Clone a Pokémon!

You need a friend for this. Trade the pokemon to be cloned and have you friend get a pokemon they dont care about. Trade them, and make sure the person getting the weak and common pokemon can see the other's screen. When the reciever of the good pokemon's screen says "waiting", turn off the Game Boy that's getting the bad pokemon. When the other one says trade completed, turn that one off too. When you turn the games back on, you should both have the powerful pokemon, but the weak Pokemon will be lost. *Warning! This could delete a saved game or your Pokemon*

Where the Moon Stones are:
There are five Moon Stones, three of which are visible, two of which are not.
1) In the upper-lefthand corner of the first floor of Mt. Moon.
2) In the basement of the game corner.
3) In the bottom-right corner of Route 2 (CUT).
4) In Mt. Moon, before the supernerd's platform, there is a corridor 4 spaces long and 1 space wide, go
to the end of it and press A and poof! you have a Moon Stone.
5) In the Pokemon Mansion on Cinnabar Island, go up to the right side of one of the pillars on the
right-hand side near the entrance hit A and it will say you found a Moon Stone.

Advice on the "Legendary Birds"

Of all the legendary birds I've found Zapados is the easiest to capture (which isn't saying much!) sence it is possible to capture it when it has nothing wrong with its status (such as sleep or paralize) and it is possible to capture it when it's health bar is more then just a sliver. Once you have captured Zapados you can use it to quickly lower the health level of Articuno and Moltres (for these last two I needed to reduce their defence or make them go to sleep to even hit them with a pokeball).

Wake up your Pokemon in battle!*New*

If you have a pokemon who has Rest or if you can get tm44, your pokemon can restore all his\her hit points (HP), in a span of 2 turns! Simply use Rest during battle (the pokemon will fall asleep), then during your next turn, play the Poke Flute (Obtained when you save Mr. Fuji from the tower in the Pokemon Tower) your pokemon will wake up ready to go!

Phantom PC?!

Go to Celadon City and make your way to the motel. go to the far right wall and make ash look north and he be in the middle square. Press A and What's this? OH MY GOSH!!!! a Ghost computer!! That's right, a Ghost PC Go to Celadon City, then go south until you are by the Alley where the Game Corner is. Walk EAST until you are standing next to a bush. CUT the bush down and go SOUTH to the first building to the WEST.... this is the Motel. Enter the Motel and walk NORTH until you hit the shelf, then walk EAST until you hit the wall, YOUR STANDING ON THE PHANTOM PC!! Now walk DOWN 2 spaces, the walk UP 1 space. Now press A and select something to do!
